About Us
Sew Loved, Inc. is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization. All contributions to Sew Loved are Income Tax Deductible and under the control of Sew Loved, Inc. for use in its programs; unless otherwise noted, you are not provided any goods or services in exchange for your gift.
The Sew Loved Women’s Center teaches sewing & quilting classes and provides other support services to under-served and marginalized teens & women in the South Bend, Indiana area. Our mission is to provide all participants the opportunity to explore personal creativity and to give back to the community. Opportunities are available for both mentoring and participation in our programs.
This program is nurturing each person’s self-confidence and self-esteem by enhancing their success at living productively in their community, encouraging them to take their next step toward a full and meaningful life, adding valuable life skills, and helping each person discover their worth to God and the community.
We desire each participant to be a part of developing a vibrant, safe and strong community with strong families.
Volunteer With Us
Sew Loved welcomes area ladies who are interested in volunteering as teachers and personal mentors. We look for women of character that are interested in being good role models and friends to the people we serve. Sewing and quilting skills are desired but not a necessity to serve in the Sew Loved programs. Please contact us for more information.
